Glorimar Santiago is an American and Spanish industrial designer with a Master’s degree in Industrial Design from Pratt Institute in New York.
Born and raised in Puerto Rico, she has built an international career spanning over 30 years, shaping environments across hospitality, retail, workplace, residential, and experiential design. Her many roles have included senior positions at EDG Interior Architecture & Design in San Francisco and Singapore, where she worked on award-winning hospitality projects throughout the Americas.
She later joined Starbucks Coffee Company as Design Manager for the Latin American division, based in Miami, before relocating to London to serve as Senior FF&E Manager at WeWork. There, she led product development across EMEA—designing over 60 custom furniture pieces and overseeing their fabrication and quality across multiple markets.
In 2020, Glorimar expanded into residential interiors, working with Mood Design + Build in Chicago, bringing her commercial sensibility to refined, human-centered homes. By 2022, she was collaborating with experiential studios across Europe, helping transform abstract narratives into immersive, interactive environments that bridge art, technology, and spatial storytelling.
After three decades in the corporate world, she took a sabbatical year in Paris, where she founded her own creative studio, Gora Designs. Now based in Barcelona, Glorimar continues to lead multidisciplinary projects that blend strategy, form, and emotional resonance—designing spaces that not only function, but move people.
